My First Computer
Knowing how much my daughter enjoys using the computer her grandma picked up the Leapfrog ClickStart™ My First Computer and gave it to Allyson last Christmas. It has become one of my daughters favorite educational toys. The Leapfrog ClickStart™ hooks directly into a TV and becomes a computer meant just for her.
The Leapfrog ClickStart™ is such an easy to use computer learning system. It is simple enough that Allyson needs very little assistance, usually only to push the game cartridges in correctly as she seems to have trouble with this only because she has quite figured out how to just press it in a little harder.
A Preschoolers First Game System
Once the ClickStart game cartridge is in she can push the only bottom on the learning system, the power button. The rest is done for her. The game loads up and she chooses her name already set in the system to record her play (we did have to assist with getting her name in). Her game then starts and she can choose from the games she would like to play on the main screen. Game starts and she's set to go. The Leapfrog ClickStart™ wireless keyboard and mouse with automatic shut off are sized just for her are very similar to a real computer keyboard and mouse(adjusts for right or left hands) so she's getting hands on experience using these devices.
The Leapfrog ClickStart™ comes with preloaded games designed for 3 to 6 year olds. Additional cartridges can be purchased separately many of which feature her favorite cartoon characters such as Dora. Backyardigans, Go Diego Go, and more.
Requires 4 "AA" batteries and 4 "C" batteries (not included)
